ACSIL's main aim is to provide a voluntary service throughout Merseyside in support of amputees, carers and their families who have been affected by amputation and the issues surrounding this. ACSIL act as a resource for all who require advice and information that has been gained from first hand experience and is not provided by hospitals and prosthetic centres.

Services Provided

  • ACSIL have an open, equal acess policy for all and promote collaboration and partnership with relative organizations. Monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 10.00 at our office/ drop in centre . We also have a social every Thursday from 10.00-16.30 where members gather to talk, play games, Wii, exercise, carpet bowls or just have lunch and enjoy being out of the house.
