This Advocacy Service is run by Age Concern Wirral, and works with older people to ensure that they are able to speak up for themselves and to ensure that their voice is heard.

An Advocate does not provide advice but responds to requests for action made by an individual older person through support, the provision of information and where appropriate, representation.

Services Provided

  • Advocacy providing services such as information and / or representation
  • Referral process from a number of sources

Additional Information

These services are open to anyone living in Wirral aged 50 plus.

Referrals for the Advocacy Service are processed by the Information and Advice Service.

Referrals can be accepted from older people and professionals such as Health Workers and Social Workers.

Referrals from professionals must use the Advocacy Service Referral Form that is available from the office indicated
